Today continues a 7-week organizing campaign designed to ease you into the holiday season. Each week, commit to tackling the tiny task I present to you. Pace yourself with us and transform your holidays from frantic from festive. You may think this is all too early, but come mid-December, you’ll be glad you’ve already taken care of all this!
Tip: Remember back in week 2 when we compiled our gift lists? Pull that list out and get to work purchasing those gifts. Don’t forget wine or other gifts for the hosts of holiday parties you’ll be attending.
Follow Up From Week 4: Last week, we decorated our spaces. Next step? Knowing that holiday cards are about to start flowing in, determine where you’ll display these cards (fridge, table, etc), and designate a place for the envelopes to land so that you can track the names and addresses. Better yet–as these cards come in, log in the addresses in real time so that there’s no build up to deal with in a few weeks. This list will help next year when it’s time to compile your holiday card list.
