Welcome back to our current organizing campaign, in which I’m addressing the most common, simplest organizational issues my clients come across. I’ll offer 2 solutions to every problem–1 strategy, and 1 product. So whether you’re looking for a do-it-yourself approach or an easy ready-made fix, my intention is to offer you a simple solution to a common problem in your space.
Common Problem #3: Countertop Clutter
Surfaces beg to be filled. Without attention, they will grow horizontally and vertically, accumulating all items seeking a resting place. Until now…
Strategy:
1. Clear all items off the surface
2. Relocate items that don’t belong
3. For the items that do belong on that surface, corral them with a nice tray. Not only does this look nicer and more intentional, but it also creates a limit for what can gather in that area. Anything that does not fit in the tray–you’re outta here!
