Today I’m sharing with you a quick tip to free up some space in your kitchen. I did this particular exercise myself this past weekend, which bought me some extra shelf space, in turn leading to a full kitchen reorganization. It was glorious. Such a simple way to de-clutter and lighten up our kitchens, yet not something we do often enough.

Organizing Shortcut #1:
Check expiration dates and toss anything that is expired and irrelevant.

Tip: Take note of what items expired. These items either weren’t useful enough to be of value to you or they were lost and forgotten about. Which was the case here, and how is that realization helpful to you moving forward as you stock your kitchen and organize this space?
